American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers elects Partners Catherine Brennan and Becki Kuehn as Fellows, Jean Noonan as Treasurer
Hudson Cook congratulates partners Catherine Brennan and Becki Kuehn on their recent election as Fellows of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers. Fellows of the College have achieved preeminence in the field of consumer financial services law and have made repeated and substantial contributions to the promotion of learning and scholarship in consumer financial services law.
Catherine is a partner in the firm's Maryland office and co-chairs Hudson Cook's Alternative Business Finance practice group. In addition to her election as a Fellow of the College, Catherine serves as Vice-Chair of the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and is a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including Lend360, deBanked and the Alternative Finance Bar Association.
Becki is a partner in the firm's Washington, D.C. office and chairs Hudson Cook's Credit Reporting, Privacy, and Data Security Practice Group. She serves on the faculty of the National Institute on Consumer Financial Services Law Basics for the Consumer Financial Service Committee of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and is a frequent presenter on credit reporting and consumer privacyfor the National Association of Professional Background Screeners, Financial Service Centers of America and other industry groups.
The firm is also proud to announce that partner Jean Noonan has been elected to serve as the College's Board Treasurer. Jean is a Founding Member of the College, served on its Board of Regents from 1998-2002 and as Chair of the Lifetime Achievement Award Committee from 2002-2005.
Catherine and Becki bring the number of Hudson Cook attorneys elected as Fellows of the College to a total of 16. This year, Robert Cook joins the firm's co-founder, Tom Hudson, and Partner Emeritus Anne Fortney, in receiving the College's Lifetime Achievement Award. The award presentation, new Fellow and new board member inductions will take place at the College's annual dinner during the American Bar Association's Consumer Financial Services Committee Meeting this March.
