Time is ticking on the compliance date for the FTC's 2021 amendments to the Safeguards Rule. Join Hudson Cook's Webb McArthur and Dailey Wilson as they discuss the FTC's recent changes to the Safeguards Rule. The amended Safeguards Rule imposes specific requirements regarding the development and implementation of an effective Safeguards Program, including written risk assessments, written incident response plans, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, activity monitoring and logging, change management; and testing and monitoring the effectiveness of safeguards. It also requires that a single qualified individual be appointed to oversee your Safeguards Program; reports to the Board or Ownership; program evaluation; and training.

This webinar addresses issues related to the Safeguards Rule that may affect consumer financial services companies delivering products and services such as check cashing, pre-paid cards, money transfers, electronic bill payments, small-dollar consumer loans and other similar lines of business.

The webinar is presented with INFiN, a Financial Services Alliance.
