Jean will review the FTC's proposed wide-ranging regulation of vehicle sales, financing, and the marketing of voluntary products and services. The proposal duplicates many existing requirements and creates a complex web of procedural obligations, complicating a sales process that is already highly regulated, burdened with paperwork, and often criticized by the FTC itself for being too long. In this Compliance Coffee Break, we will review the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Hudson Cook is pleased to host a client educational series: Compliance Coffee Breaks. These 30-minute "mini-webinars" feature Hudson Cook attorneys presenting on a variety of compliance topics, including auto finance, debt collection practices, mortgage and housing, credit reporting, and more. You may submit your questions ahead of time via the registration link or submit them via the Q&A box during the presentation. As of 2022, we are using the Zoom platform for our webinars.
